lumenyare asked: Seems like we were in Cuba at the same time; I was there from Feb28-March29. Even that was much too short. I love your photo 'The Storm.' I remember that. It was a Thursday, March 10th I believe. We were in a car travelling from Habana to Viñales. Frightening to say the least, though much less than being in a catamaran I'm sure.

We are back...
to be honest its been a few weeks now that we have been back, but I have just been too busy, followed by too lazy, followed by ‘get a heartache everytime I look at the pictures again’, followed bottom of my To-Do list…. Yes, we are at the airport!
So peeps we are officially checked in and Chilling at the YYZ for now. FINALLY ITS TIME....
On Monday…. we are leaving. All I have done till now is make a To-DO and a half hearted shopping list. Time to pull up my socks ( no pun intended). Clock is ticking now, Saturday, Sunday and then take off. Will be putting up pictures of our loot soon after the shopping spree.

So we finally sorted out our travel insurance and visa details. After a lot of long calls on the phone, scanning a million forums, emails and sleepless nights after, we both have what that we need in terms of documentation to travel legally. One thing that always worries me about going to any foregin destination is not having the right or enough papers and getting man handled by Immigration...
